The battery driven stressing pump is a standalone power pack used in the alumino thermic track welding process. Often referred to in the rail industry as Rail Tensors or as Destressing Kit.This new innovation is a novel design, using battery power packs and can be considered the first of its type. Compatible with other rail tensors using similar pressures. As such, there is improved reliability, approx. 50% reduction of weight to improve ergonomics and removal of harmful petrol or diesel fumes.
